- Former Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota President and CEO Craig Samitt, MD, was appointed executive chair of San Francisco-based Myia Health July 21.
- Magellan Health appointed Derrick Duke as CEO July 7, succeeding former CEO Ken Fasola. The position is a part of Centene's CEO office.
- BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina CEO David Pankau retired and was named chair of the company's board, effective April 21. Michael Mizeur became president and CEO July 1.
- Molina Healthcare of New Mexico named Carolyn Ingram as plan president June 30.
- Former Independence Health Group President and CEO Daniel Hilferty founded a strategic advisory firm, Dune View Strategies, June 28.
- PacificSource Health Plans said June 24 that President and CEO Ken Provencher will retire March 31 after leading the company for 21 years.
