The following healthcare payer executive moves have been reported by Becker's in the last month:

CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield has named A. Tonya Odom as director of diversity, equity and inclusion; she will be tasked with leading strategies to recruit, develop and retain a diverse workforce.

The COO of Oscar Health is resigning April 10, according to a March 7 Securities and Exchange Commission filing.

Joseph B. Sobel, MD, has been named the chief medical officer for Cigna's Medicare business after joining the company a month ago, according to a March 8 news release.

Allison Miller, Optum's chief information security officer, was named to the board of directors for nonprofit CISO advocacy group the National Technology Security Coalition as a representative of the healthcare industry, according to a March 2 announcement. 

Clover Health named Conrad Wai as the payer's chief technology officer, the company announced March 1. 

Bright Health Group announced March 1 that Matt Manders, former president of Cigna's government and solutions arm, has joined its board of directors. 

Humana elected David Feinberg, MD, president and CEO of Cerner, to its board of directors, the payer announced March 1. 

Several payers are creating new executive-level roles to double-down on investing in sustainability, state programs and diversity. 

John Murabito, Cigna's 19-year chief human resources officer and chief administrative officer, is retiring on April 1, the payer announced Feb. 18.
