Health Alliance Medical Plans names new CEO

Health Alliance Medical Plans, the insurance division of Urbana, Ill.-based Carle Health, has named its COO, Sinead Rice Madigan, as president and CEO.

Ms. Rice Madigan has been with the company for 15 years, and has an additional 15 years of experience within Illinois state government, according to an Aug. 17 news release.

Health Alliance sells plans in Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Ohio and Washington with additional licenses in Nebraska and Missouri, as well as an affiliate in North Carolina, FirstCarolineCare.
