Former Centene VP named to Agilon Health board

Former Centene executive Jeff Schwaneke has been elected to serve as an independent member of Agilon Health’s board of directors.

Mr. Schwaneke’s term begins immediately, according to an Aug. 10 news release from Agilon Health. He was Centene’s executive vice president of healthcare enterprises before resigning last September. He spent 13 years at the company and previously served as CFO and treasurer. 

Austin, Texas-based Agilon Health assists providers with transitioning to value-based care models.
