CVS Health will lay off 42 additional employees at Aetna's headquarters in Hartford, Conn, after laying off hundreds of employees earlier this year. 

WPS Health Solutions is laying off 313 employees in Wisconsin due to competitive pressures and federal contract losses.

A federal jury has ordered Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan to pay nearly $13 million in damages to a former employee who said she was wrongfully terminated for refusing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

Independence Blue Cross is laying off about 130 employees, or 3% of its total workforce of 4,600.

Elevance Health is laying off 123 employees in Southern California, according to regulatory documents filed with the state Oct. 14.
