Titusville, Fla.-based Parrish Healthcare is severing its relationship with Cigna, citing overall financial losses and claiming the health insurer has refused to pay $1.3 million in reimbursements for additional services, the Space Coast Daily reported Dec. 11.  

Cigna and Cincinnati-based Mercy Health could split, leaving thousands of patients without in-network access to their provider, if the two sides cannot reach a contract agreement by Jan. 1, the Cincinnati Enquirer reported Dec. 9. 

More than 2,000 independent pharmacies will rejoin Tricare's network, managed by Cigna's Express Scripts, Navy Times reported Dec. 8. 

Six payer-provider contracts Becker's has reported since Nov. 21: 

Abilene, Texas-based Hendrick Health could go out of network with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas if a new contract is not in effect by Feb. 1, the Abilene Reporter-News reported Dec. 6. 

UnitedHealthcare and Tulsa, Okla.-based Hillcrest HealthCare System will be out of network if the two sides do not reach a contract agreement by May 1, 2023, ABC affiliate KTUL reported Dec. 5. 

Partnership HealthPlan of California and Fairfield, Calif.-based NorthBay Health reached a contract that will keep the nonprofit healthcare organization in network with the health system. 

Aetna and Munster, Ind.-based Community Healthcare System will go out of network if the two sides cannot reach a contract agreement by Jan. 15, Inside Indiana Business reported Dec. 5. 

CDPHP and Albany, N.Y.-based St. Peter's Health Partners have reached an "agreement in principle" that will keep the region's largest insurance provider in network with the hospital system that has 170 locations, the Times Union reported Dec. 3.

Phoenix Children's Hospital will go out of network with Cigna if the sides are unable to reach a new contract by Feb. 1, the Phoenix Business Journal reported Dec. 2.
