Independence Blue Cross names three new vice presidents

Independence Blue Cross has promoted Daniel Brown to vice president of provider reimbursement analysis and administration, Michael Hébert to vice president of provider contracting, and Obadiah Sang to vice president of corporate development and strategic investments.

Mr. Brown first joined the company in 2012 and will provide oversight and direction for the development and deployment of provider reimbursement strategies, according to a June 22 news release.

Mr. Hébert first joined the company in 2015 and will be responsible for provider contracting for all of Independence’s commercial, government markets, and future expanded markets. 

Mr. Sang first joined the company in 2020 and will provide oversight for M&A, divestitures and strategic investing, along with overseeing Independence’s strategic innovation portfolio.
