Walmart has partnered with Soda Health to launch the Walmart Everyday Health Signals program, aimed at helping Medicare Advantage and Medicaid enrollees make healthier food choices through personalized guidance based on online shopping patterns.
Members will receive tailored insights on how their purchases can support their wellness goals, including personalized shopping lists, nutritional information on fruits and vegetables, and recipe suggestions designed to improve health outcomes, according to a June 17 news release. Health plans can also use the insights to identify additional benefits, improve care coordination, and offer more personalized services.
In May, Walmart launched new digital offerings that integrate with Medicare Advantage supplement plans.
At the Becker's 5th Annual Fall Payer Issues Roundtable, taking place November 2–3 in Chicago, payer executives and healthcare leaders will come together to discuss value-based care, regulatory changes, cost management strategies and innovations shaping the future of payer-provider collaboration.
