Walmart is launching new digital offerings that will integrate with Medicare Advantage supplement plans.

Members will be able to choose from plan-specific, benefits-eligible products while shopping online for same-day pickup or delivery in as soon as an hour, according to a May 28 news release. Launching first with NationsBenefits, members can now add benefit cards to their online Walmart account.

“Benefits program eligible” badges will show online for OTC and food and wellness products, which they can quickly add to their cart with one click. Benefits-eligible badging will show up when scanning items in the Walmart app while in-store, and a benefits tracker will show how much members have left to spend.

Walmart is also launching Everyday Health Signals, a digital AI-powered platform developed initially for health plans and benefit managers, that will send wellness and health insights to members that connect their benefits to their Walmart.com account. The initiative will also launch first with NationsBenefits, with plans to expand the platform to more plans and benefits managers.
