AHIP has tapped two new executive vice presidents to lead the trade association's lobbying and communication efforts.
Sohini Gupta was named executive vice president for government affairs and innovations, according to an April 5 news release. Ms. Gupta most recently led government affairs for Global Medical Response. She previously held government affairs roles at UnitedHealth Group, Wellcare and the American Hospital Association.
Robert Traynham, PhD, was named executive vice president for public affairs and strategic initiatives. He joins AHIP from Meta, where he led public affairs. Dr. Traynham is also a professor and fellow at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
