BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee named Rose Lee as vice president and chief information security officer.

Blue Shield of California has named Tim Lieb senior vice president of commercial markets. 

Johns Hopkins HealthCare, the managed care and health services business of Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins Medicine, has an opening for a senior business administrator, the health system confirmed to Becker's.  

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina named Willie Deese as the newest addition to its board of trustees.

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota has made four executive leadership appointments in human resources, treasury and investments, medical management, and legal who will report to President and CEO Dana Erickson, according to an April 19 press release.

Better Health has appointed Robert Mirsky, MD, to the company's board of advisers. 

Several payer executives stepped down from their positions or retired in 2022. 

Allina Health | Aetna has named its Chief Medical Officer Robert Wieland, MD, its new CEO, effective immediately.  

CareFirst of Maryland, a Blue Cross Blue Shield affiliate, has tapped Djinge Lindsay, MD, to be its first director of public health.
