Florida Blue CEO to serve second term as AHIP chair

Pat Geraghty, president and CEO of Florida Blue and parent company Guidewell, will serve a second year as chair of AHIP.

The board of directors reelected Mr. Geraghty to a second term leading the trade association representing insurers, according to a Sept. 10 news release. 

Mr. Geraghty was elected chair of the board in 2023. He succeeded David Holmberg, CEO of Highmark Health, in the position. 

Mr. Geraghty has led Florida Blue since 2011.
