New Hampshire awards Medicaid contracts

New Hampshire has awarded three payers contracts to manage the state’s Medicaid managed care programs.

The five-year contracts run Sept. 1, 2024, through Aug. 31, 2029, pending successful readiness reviews, according to a Jan. 10 news release from the state’s health and human services department. 

The three payers awarded contracts are:

  • AmeriHealth Caritas New Hampshire
  • NH Healthy Families (a Centene subsidiary) 
  • WellSense Health Plan
