Pennsylvania names insurance commissioner

Pennsylvania has appointed Michael Humphreys as the state’s next insurance commissioner.

Mr. Humphreys was confirmed by the state’s Senate June 26, according to a news release. He has served as acting commissioner since February 2022. 

He was previously chief of staff for the Pennsylvania Department of Insurance and assistant insurance commissioner in Tennessee.
