Molina outsourcing 52 jobs at headquarters

Molina Healthcare is outsourcing 52 positions to a contractor at its headquarters in Long Beach, Calif., according to regulatory documents filed with the state in April.

Molina’s filing describes the move as permanent layoffs, which are effective June 18.

“This is a rebadging of employees to a contractor — meaning the employees will now be employed by the contractor. There are no job losses,” a Molina spokesperson told Becker’s.
