JPMorgan's health arm seeking commercial insurance researcher

Morgan Health, the healthcare division of JPMorgan Chase, is seeking a vice president and research lead to support the company's research, investments and health equity work.

The position was posted Oct. 6 and is based in Washington, D.C. but there is flexibility if the candidate also lives in New York or Boston.

Morgan Health shares data and insights on how the healthcare system could work better for those with employer-sponsored health insurance, including JPMorgan's U.S.-based employees and dependents. The company also works to identify and address health inequities that impact its employees, their families and the people in the communities where it operates.

Morgan Health Ventures invests in healthcare companies directly that the company believes are improving the system.

The research lead will "oversee a research agenda to support our innovation, investment and health equity work."

The company is looking for an individual with at least seven years of professional experience with healthcare research and prefers to hire someone with experience at a payer, provider, research, or policy organization.
