Highmark said the move will allow it to “recalibrate its office space, with room to grow its hybrid workforce, and continue its long-standing commitment to the city of Buffalo,” according to the report.

The move will take place in spring 2024 and will relocate 1,400 Highmark employees, according to the report. The company has been in its current office space since 2007.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Fall Payer Issues Roundtable, taking place November 17–19 in Chicago, payer executives and healthcare leaders will come together to discuss value-based care, regulatory changes, cost management strategies and innovations shaping the future of payer-provider collaboration.
