The January report invited Fortune’s 500 largest publicly traded businesses, American Lawyer magazine’s top 200 revenue-grossing law firms, and hundreds of mid- to large-sized businesses to participate in the Corporate Equality Index. The index measures non-discrimination policies across business entities; equitable benefits for LGBTQ+ workers and their families; support of an inclusive culture and corporate social responsibility.
Across all industries, 1,449 companies participated this year, and 765 earned a perfect score of 100.
