The publication released its annual ranking of the best employers Feb. 12. The results are based on surveys of more than 217,000 employees.
The list of top midsize employers includes companies with more than 1,000 and less than 5,000 employees.
Survey participants were asked to rate their employer on pay, work environment, training programs and advancement opportunities. Survey respondents could also rate employers they worked at within the past two years, and employers they were familiar with in their industry or through family and friends.
Fifteen payers with more than 5,000 employees were included on Forbes’ list of the top large employers. See the hospitals and health systems that made Forbes’ list here.
