Digital youth mental health provider Hopscotch has raised $8 million in seed funding and gained the backing of major payers, including Aetna, Cigna and Optum, the Daily News reported Sept. 13.
The New York City-based startup helps to simplify youth access to behavioral health services and makes it easier for pediatric providers to work with payers. The company currently offers its services in Delaware, Florida, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Texas.
The company also works with UnitedHealthcare and BCBS companies owned by Highmark and Elevance Health.
