Clover Health said it is integrated with Kno2, the patient information exchange, according to a March news release from the company.
Kno2 is a qualified health information network under the Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement, and it is also a CMS-aligned network. CMS previously listed other payers as “early adopters” of CMS-aligned networks.
These networks are data exchanges that voluntarily follow CMS’ interoperability framework. By leveraging its AI physician-enablement platform Counterpart Health, Clover can respond to patient requests for claims and clinical data in real time, the release said.
“Counterpart Assistant was built from the ground up as a bi-directional interoperable platform, already connecting hundreds of data sources. These are not bolt-on capabilities or compliance projects. They are foundational components of how the system operates in production,” Counterpart Chief Product Officer Kevin Holub said in the release. “When that infrastructure already exists, participating in CMS-aligned networks becomes a fast add-on benefit, not a build.”
