Three health insurers have been named among the top 50 companies that are effectively adopting and scaling the use of artificial intelligence by Fortune.
The AIQ 50 ranking measures Fortune 500 companies through a score that combines self-assessments, peer evaluations and peer recognition to gauge AI usage across industries. The final AIQ score reflects real-world deployment, investment value, and sector comparisons, specifically how companies are using AI for personalization, data analysis, and supply chain optimization.
UnitedHealth Group was the highest ranked within the healthcare industry at spot 25, followed by Centene (27) and Elevance Health (35). Johnson and Johnson was the only other healthcare company to make the list.
