UnitedHealth Group's board of directors authorized to pay a cash dividend of $1.88 per share on Sept. 19 to all shareholders of record as of Sept. 11, according to an Aug. 23 company news release.
In the second quarter, UnitedHealth posted total revenues of $92.9 billion, up 15.7 percent year over year. Total net earnings in the second quarter were nearly $5.5 billion, up 8 percent year over year.
