Lowest-rated Medicare Advantage plans in 2024: J.D. Power

Medicare Advantage plans from Centene, Humana and UnitedHealthcare are among the lowest-rated plans for customer satisfaction in their markets in 2024, according to J.D. Power's annual Medicare Advantage Study.

The consumer insight firm published its list of the top Medicare Advantage plans in 10 markets on Aug. 20. The average customer rating for MA plans was 652 on a 1,000-point scale, according to a news release from J.D. Power. 

The average rating in 2023 was also 652. Customers rated Medicare Advantage plans higher than commercial plans in 2024. The average rating for commercial plans in 2024 was 565 out of 1,000.
