The company’s CenterWell primary care brand will expand to four new metro areas in 2025 — Augusta, Ga., Savannah, Ga., Greensboro, N.C. and Wichita, Kan. — according to a Feb. 19 news release.
In addition to market expansion, Humana will add 20 to 30 new centers in existing markets, according to the release. This includes clinics co-located at Walmart locations, with 11 Walmart sites set to open in 2025.
In July 2024, Humana said it would lease 23 former Walmart Health sites from the retail giant for CenterWell clinics. Walmart shuttered its health centers in 2024.
CenterWell Senior Primary Care and sister brand Conviva Senior Primary Care operate more than 340 centers. The organizations saw 390,000 patients in 2024.
