Highmark Health Plans reported $6.1 billion in operating revenue and a $9 million operating loss in the first quarter of 2025, citing elevated utilization and continued industrywide pressures that carried over from last year.
Parent company Highmark Health reported $8 billion in revenue in Q1, $15 million in operating income, and $13 million in net income.
Allegheny Health Network reported an operating income of $8 million, up $39 million year-over-year. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization rose to $74 million.
