Payers across the country are giving members access to more virtual care platforms and building out their networks.
Here are five recent partnerships and expansions:
1. Oscar Health is giving members access to 12 Centrum Health locations. The Miami-based NeueHealth subsidiary operates value-based primary care centers in three states.
2. Highmark is offering members access to a pair of wellness and behavioral health platforms — one for musculoskeletal care and one for alcohol use disorder recovery.
3. Evernorth is broadening its Meru Health partnership to offer the mental health platform nationwide to employer-sponsored and individual and family plan members. The parties' initial partnership only included 12 states.
4. Home State Health added Columbia, Mo.-based MU Health Care and Jefferson City-based Capital Region Medical Center to its provider network. The move now gives beneficiaries under all three of Missouri's Medicaid plans in-network access to the providers.
5. Health New England is expanding its at-home COVID-19 test coverage to include Medicare Advantage members. The move builds on the federal mandate requiring payers cover the tests for privately-insured individuals.
