Cigna creates plan with African insurer Hollard

Cigna’s global subsidiary expanded its partnership with African-based Hollard Insurance to create a health plan addressing the need for a fully complaint health option in sub-Saharan Africa.

The plan between Cigna Global Health Benefits and Hollard, called Hollard Cigna Health, meets global, regional and local requirements. 

“Transparency and simplicity play a vital role in our mission to support the health, well-being and sense of security of the people we serve,” said David Maltby, president of Cigna Global Health Benefits. “Through this broadened partnership with Hollard, we are now able to extend Cigna’s service, bringing high-quality and affordable healthcare to our clients, customers and partners in Africa.”
