Forbes partnered with Statista to publish a list of America's 500 best employers for diversity.
Statista surveyed 60,000 Americans working for companies with at least 1,000 employees to identify those most dedicated to diversity, equity and inclusion. Survey participants were asked to rate their companies on age, gender, ethnicity, disability and sexual orientation equality, along with general diversity. Statista also asked respondents belonging to minority groups to nominate organizations they do not work for.
These payers were named among the country's best workplaces for diversity:

26th place — New York Life (sells supplemental health coverage)
39th place — Unum (sells supplemental health coverage)
69th place — Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan
96th place — Highmark Health

127th place — Liberty Mutual
