8 healthcare startups to watch, per CareFirst BCBS

Healthworx, the innovation and venture capital arm of CareFirst BCBS, and Baltimore-based LifeBridge Health have selected eight healthcare startups to participate in their 1501 Health Incubator program.

The program, now in its third year, provides investment and professional resources to grow startups that promise to deliver innovative solutions for customers, according to a Feb. 28 news release shared with Becker's.

The chosen companies were selected from a record 147 applicants, which is nearly 31 percent more than last year.
