Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts is working with precision medicine company Medzown to connect eligible members who have cancer and other complex conditions with clinical trials.
Medzown’s technology identifies members who could be candidates for trials studying their specific illness, then pairs them with a team of scientists, navigators and clinical trial experts who work alongside the member’s existing clinicians, according to an Oct. 27 news release.
The service is voluntary and included in eligible members’ plans at no extra cost.
