4 recent payer rebrands

Here are four payer rebrands that Becker’s has reported since June 23:

1. CareMore Health, an Elevance Health subsidiary, will rebrand as Carelon Health in January 2024. 

2. Health Partners Plans will rebrand as Jefferson Health Plans, beginning with its Medicare plans in 2024. Jefferson Health acquired Health Partners Plans in 2021. 

3. Elevance Health is rebranding its Amerigroup subsidiary as Wellpoint. Pending regulatory approval, the new name will take effect in January 2024. 

4. Select Health, the nonprofit insurance arm of Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Health, has rebranded with a new color palette, logo, and adjustment of its name, which was formerly SelectHealth. The rebrand aligns with a similar update at Intermountain Health earlier this year.
