The top 10 Medicare Advantage-focused startups have raised more than $20 billion combined in venture funding, according to a Feb. 27 report published in Health Affairs, citing PitchBook.

In 2022, CMS spent more than $427 billion on MA, or 55 percent of total federal Medicare funding.

  2. Bright Health: $3.4 billion
  3. Oscar Health: $3.4 billion
  4. Devoted Health: $2 billion
  5. Clover Health: $1.6 billion
  6. Agilon Health: $1.1 billion
  7. Cano Health: $1.05 billion
  8. Alignment Healthcare: $911 million
  9. Oak Street Health: $652 million
  10. Iora Health: $382 million
