Elevance closes Paragon Health acquisition

Elevance Health has closed the acquisition of infusion center and specialty pharmacy operator Paragon Healthcare.

Plano, Texas-based Paragon Healthcare has more than 40 ambulatory infusion centers in eight states, serving more than 35,000 patients on site and in their homes, according to a March 11 news release. 

Elevance announced the planned acquisition in January. Paragon Healthcare will operate as part of Carelon, Elevance’s healthcare services arm.
