Effective July 17, the subsidiary’s new name is Denova Collaborative Health. Magellan Health acquired Bayless in December 2020, and Centene purchased Magellan in 2021.

“As part of the negotiations to acquire the remaining 30 percent of Bayless Integrated Healthcare earlier this year, Centene agreed to give the Bayless name back to the Bayless family,” Denova CEO Graham Johnson told the SLBJ.

Denova currently has eight locations in the Phoenix area, with new clinics expected to open in Tucson and Flagstaff by the end of the first quarter of 2024. The company also plans to expand to Utah, Colorado, New Mexico and Washington in 2025, according to AZ Business Magazine.

At the Becker's 5th Annual Fall Payer Issues Roundtable, taking place November 17–19 in Chicago, payer executives and healthcare leaders will come together to discuss value-based care, regulatory changes, cost management strategies and innovations shaping the future of payer-provider collaboration.
