The outlet published its annual ranking Dec. 5. Ms. Lynch was ranked as Forbes’ most powerful woman in business earlier this year.
Two other payer CEOs were listed among the world’s most powerful women, in the company of Vice President Kamala Harris, Oprah Winfrey and Beyonce. Elevance Health CEO Gail Boudreaux was ranked as the world’s 14th most powerful woman, and Centene CEO Sarah London was ranked at No. 22.
Ursula von der Leyen, president of the European Commission, was Forbes’ most powerful woman of 2023.
