Centene CEO Sarah London told Fortune in a June 19 interview that leaders are increasingly realizing the importance in developing a strong culture within their organizations.
"I think recently leaders have clued in to the fact that culture is a hard asset and creating the right culture is a hard skill and a really important one," Ms. London said. "In a world where you had a little more top down-driven leadership, there wasn't as much time spent on that, but I actually think the time you spend on that comes back tenfold in the returns you can deliver.
