The Civic 50 honorees are companies with annual domestic revenues of at least $1 billion and are selected based on four metrics of their corporate citizenship and social impact initiatives: investment of resources, integration across business functions, institutionalization through policies and systems, and impact measurement.

Among all 50 companies, UnitedHealth Group was named the leader in the healthcare sector and the only payer to be an honoree all 11 years. BCBS Louisiana was also recognized as a volunteer leader among all honorees.
