Alignment records 32% increase in membership

Alignment Healthcare grew its membership 31.5% year over year to just over 294,000, the Medicare Advantage insurer said in its second quarter earnings posted July 30.

Total revenue was $1.3 billion, a 31.6% increase year over year. Net income was nearly $37 million, more than double the $15.7 million the company recorded in the second quarter of 2025.

The company’s medical loss ratio was 86.3%, an improvement of about 40 basis points year over year.

Alignment raised the midpoint of its full-year 2026 guidance for membership, revenue, adjusted gross profit and adjusted EBITDA. The company now expects full-year revenue of $5.20 billion to $5.23 billion and year-end membership of 298,000 to 301,000.
