Priority Health names 1st vice president of employer solutions products

Grand Rapids, Mich.-based nonprofit Priority Health has appointed Alicia Coronas as its first vice president of employer solutions products.

Ms. Coronas will focus on the development and execution of a comprehensive multiyear strategy for all commercial group markets, innovative products and programs to drive differentiated value to employers and members, according to a May 17 news release.

Previously, Ms. Coronas served as divisional vice president of product solutions at Health Care Service Corp., where she led product strategy for large employers for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas. She has also held roles at the BCBS Association, Accenture, Hewitt Associates and is a certified health insurance executive with AHIP.

“Alicia is a strategic leader who is focused on developing healthcare solutions for mission-driven organizations and has directed comprehensive growth strategies in the employer group segment,” said Megan Schmidt, senior vice president of employer solutions. “With her customer-first mindset and human-centric design principles, she will lead the team in our continued efforts to increase member engagement while improving outcomes and experiences within the healthcare system.”
