From CEO to COO, these are seven moves from top executives that have taken place this year across UnitedHealth Group's core lines of business:

UnitedHealthcare has named Robert (Bobby) Hunter as president of its Medicare business.

Aetna has named Ali Khan, MD, as chief medical officer for Medicare and dual-eligible beneficiaries. 

MVP Health Care has named Richard Dal Col, MD, as president of health management and provider & network strategy. 

UnitedHealth Group has named CFO John Rex as president of the company. 

Highmark Health has promoted Craig Riner to executive vice president and chief marketing officer, and Elevance Health has named its chief strategy officer, Kyle Weber, as interim CMO.

Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Utah has named Mike Woodruff, MD, as executive medical director. 

California has appointed Tyler Sadwith as the state's Medicaid director. 

Optum Financial Services has named Dhivya Suryadevara as CEO.

Clover Health has named Clay Thornton CFO of its Medicare Advantage division.
