Optum Health’s Mid-Atlantic region includes Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, West Virginia, Kentucky and Tennessee.
Previously, Mr. Kelly was risk president and chief value officer for Optum’s Tri-State provider group and executive director of CareMount ACO.
CareMount is a N.Y.-based multispecialty medical group owned by Optum. CareMount, Connecticut-based ProHealth and New Jersey-based Riverside Medical Group form the Tri-State medical group.
