Independent Health President Jim Dunlop has departed from his role, Buffalo Business First reported July 8.
Under a leadership succession plan, Mr. Dunlop was promoted to president in February 2024 after serving as executive vice president and CFO for three years. The departure was a mutual decision, according to the news report.
Independent’s CEO Michael Cropp, MD, will now take on the responsibilities of the president role.
“The departure of a senior executive is never taken lightly. After careful and thorough deliberation, we believe this decision reflects the best long-term interests of the company and Jim,” Mr. Cropp said.
