Ms. Flannery previously worked for Arizona’s Medicaid agency, according to a Feb. 26 New Mexico Human Services Department news release. Her roles with the Arizona agency included senior policy adviser and assistant director.

In January, New Mexico canceled its Medicaid contract procurement process as the state’s Human Services Department director and Medicaid director departed. The Human Services Department said the cancellation will allow new leadership to assess the design of the procurement.
