New Jersey lawmaker resigns for spot on Horizon Blue Cross board

New Jersey assemblyman Ralph Caputo resigned his seat in the state’s legislature to take a position on the board of Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield, northjersey.com reported March 23.

Mr. Caputo was nominated to the board by New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy. The Democrat from Essex has served in the state General Assembly since 2008. 

Mr. Caputo will fill Paul Juliano’s spot on the Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield board. Mr. Julinao left to lead the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority.
