Tony Helton, Medical Mutual’s CFO, will serve as interim CEO, according to a Nov. 13 news release. Mr. Glass has served as CEO of Medical Mutual since 2022. He was previously CFO at Cleveland Clinic, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Mr. Glass will serve as a consultant to the company through June 2025 to ensure a smooth transition, according to the release.
Medical Mutual’s board of directors “feels no rush” to name a permanent CEO, according to the release.
Cleveland-based Medical Mutual has more than 1.2 million members in commercial, Medicare and individual plans.
