Mr. Choate joined Liberty’s board in September after spending more than 25 years as a senior executive at UnitedHealth, according to a Feb. 20 Liberty news release. He most recently served as senior vice president of OptumRx before retiring in April, according to his LinkedIn page.
He also previously served as CEO of UnitedHealthcare’s national accounts, according to the release.
