Mr. Hitchcock had been interim president and CEO since November and first joined SelectHealth as president of government programs and chief value-based officer in August, according to a Feb. 15 news release.
Previously, he served as COO at Elevance Health’s care services division, Carelon. He has also held executive roles at Centene, Humana and multiple BCBS affiliates.
SelectHealth has over one million members across Utah, Idaho and Nevada.
