MedPAC advises Congress on payments to providers in Medicare’s traditional fee-for-service programs and to health plans participating in the Medicare Advantage program.
Joining the commission are:

- Cheryl Damberg, PhD, director of the RAND Center of Excellence on Health System Performance, distinguished chair in healthcare payment policy and a principal senior economist at Santa Monica, Calif.-based RAND Corp.
- Kenny Kan, vice president and chief actuary of Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey in Newark.
- Gregory Poulsen, senior vice president at Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Healthcare.
- Scott Sarran, MD, chief medical officer at Chicago-based MoreCare.
