Elevance Health has named Melissa Sherry, PhD, staff vice president of social impact and equity.
"Elevance Health's commitment to whole health, empowering communities and fostering equitable healthcare solutions deeply resonates with my personal and professional values, and I am really excited for the opportunity to help expand this meaningful work across Elevance's markets," she wrote on LinkedIn Nov. 20.
Previously, Dr. Sherry was vice president of social care integration as software firm Unite Us, and she has held several leadership positions at Johns Hopkins HealthCare.
